Gratitude & Life Updates:

  • Grateful for real conversation and laughing so hard your stomach hurts with friends over dinner Wednesday night. And grateful I made these friends during yoga teacher training.
  • Grateful for Steve and the sacrifices he makes to help me follow my dreams. I thanked him this week with a card that really said all those deeply emotional sentiments that I couldn’t put into words myself.Friday Favorites Friday Favorites 1
  • Grateful for my new intern who is simply wonderful I’m lucky to have her on board.
  • Grateful for RD friends who are so supportive and help to elevate each other’s businesses.
  • Today marks the 1 year anniversary of when I was laid off from my corporate job. It’s been an incredible year of travel, soul searching, adventure, chasing dreams, and taking risks. I couldn’t be more grateful that life dealt me that unexpected card last year. I’m so much better off for it.
  • This weekend, my goal is to SLOW DOWN and finish The Desire Map by Danielle La Porte.

  1. That card is soooo funny!!!

I think i’ll definitely look back on my one year of getting laid off fondly. Not that I didn’t just go to a different, bigger, better retail brand but you know haha…

    • Isn’t it hilarious?! It’s too real for my life.
