Ingredients
Scale
For the spiced simple syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 cloves
- 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise pod
For the Thai iced tea:
- 1 can coconut milk
- 6 tbsp simple syrup
- 7 cups Lipton Pure Leaf Unsweetened Iced Tea
- Ice
Instructions
For the simple syrup:
- Place sugar, water, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, and star anise into a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Strain syrup through a sieve or cheesecloth and let cool.
For the Thai Iced Tea:
- In a pitcher, stir together iced tea, coconut milk, simple syrup and ice. Serve immediately.
Notes
To make individual servings, combine 1 cup iced tea with ¼ cup coconut milk and 1 tbsp simple syrup. Serve over ice.
