Ingredients

- 2 ounces bourbon or whiskey
- 2 tablespoons blood orange juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
- Optional garnishes: blood orange slices and/or star anise
Instructions
- Heat water, honey and blood orange juice over stovetop in a small saucepan or heat it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, or until hot.
- Stir in the booze and divide evenly between mugs.
- Optional: Garnish mugs with blood orange slices and/or star anise.
