What’s In My CSA Box #5: Delicata Squash, Turnips, Mustard Greens, Swiss Chard

Happy Tuesday, ya’ll!

I’m slowly but surely on the mend from my cold. I spent the weekend relaxing and recharging the batteries and it was LOVELY. I can’t believe that this last weekend was the only weekend I’m home this month. It’s been a cray cray October. All good stuff though. And this upcoming weekend I’m heading to Denver to visit my friend, @ElizabethEats. Woot, woot! Follow my Denver eats and finds on IG.What's In My CSA Box Delicata Squash-1Today I have the last video of the season for my What’s In My CSA Box series (sniff, sniff). I’m sad the CSA season has come to an end but I’m pretty sure I have enough squash to last me through the next couple months :). This video was shot a couple weeks ago so you’ll see some end of the summer produce (corn, looking at you) but you’ll also get the 411 on fall produce like delicata squash. Btw, if you’re looking for a mouthwatering delicata squash recipe, I’ve already made a version of this one via 101 Cookbooks twice.

So now that the CSA video series is over, tell me, what kind of videos do you want to see from TFD? I’ve got a couple ideas up my sleeve but would love to hear from you too! If you’ve got some feedback, leave a comment below or shoot me an email!

  1. Oh my goodness! I love this! I’ve been thinking of searching for a CSA here. I’m in south FL so our growing season is a tad different. I look forward to adding this squash in an upcoming meal plan! 🙂

    • Thanks, Jackie! I love CSAs – they help force me to meal plan, discover new produce, and up my fruit and veggie intake. Plus, you get to support local farmers and the local community. It’s a win-win all around. Best of luck finding one in your area! Enjoy that squash 🙂
