Big thanks to FOODIE by Mode for sponsoring my post today!

Happy Friday!!

Can you believe Valentine’s Day is next weekend already? Steve and I are going to drive to Vermont on V-Day (after my yoga class at Crunch) and go skiing on Sunday at Stowe. It’ll be our first time on the slopes this season and we can’t wait! We rented a cute little rustic apartment near Montpelier via airbnb. This will also be our first time using airbnb – I’ll let you know how it goes! Really just looking forward to disconnecting and spending QT with Steve. We made a pact last night (not kidding, we literally shook on it) that we would not check emails or social on Saturday and Sunday. We’ve both been working so hard lately – we both need a little break and true R&R.

Because I’m a chocoholic and because I believe that the sure fire way to anyone’s heart is chocolate, I hand-picked my FAVORITE 14 Valentine’s Day chocolate treats for you to make next weekend. Trust me, your sweet tooth sweetheart will thank you.

I’ve also got another special (healthier) chocolate treat coming at you on Tuesday that I’m pretty excited about! So, stay tuned!

Cheers to the weekend, friends.

Tell me, what are your Valentine’s Day plans?

  1. Great collection Kara! I’m so jealous, I would love to get away and go skiing with my guy. Your trip sounds so romantic. Enjoy!

  2. Love all this chocolate! Yum! BL and I are going skiing as well for V-day and I am literally counting the hours! I love you made a pact to not check emails while you are away- so much easier said than done but so important! I’m trying really hard not to check emails/phone first thing in the morning. Have fun using AirB&B! I’m obsessed with it, you can find so many awesome places with it!

    • Thanks, Alex! So fun – where will you be skiing? As far as disconnecting goes, it’s almost like we have to shake on it these days and really put an intention out there to stick to it because you’re right, it’s so much easier said than done. But we recognize just how important it is! And what better time than V-Day to carve out some serious quality unplugged time together. Have fun next weekend!

  3. Love the skillet brownie! Although I would love any of these recipes.

  4. What a great roundup – Sharing with my audience! 🙂

  5. Enjoy your trip & hopefully it’s not TOO cold this weekend to ski! The weather doesn’t look too bad – I’m hoping to go snowboarding this weekend too.

  6. I know! Can’t believe Valentine’s day is coming up so quickly! Slow down!! There are too many things I want to get accomplished before March haha. But then again, that’s always going to be the case. Tim and I also made a pact to unplug on the weekends as well. I think it’s going to be one of the best decision we make this year. hope you have fun!! You know, I’ve never been skiing in my life? never…

  7. Whoa- they all look amazon! My hubby and I would devour that Mexican Hot Chocolate Pudding!
