The topic of normality comes up a lot in my sessions with clients. I often hear, Is this normal? Am I normal?
And recently I was reading a book in which the author talked about how many people ask her the same question and IHO what they really are asking is, Do I belong?
Because at the end of the day, all we want is to feel like we belong. Which makes total sense because as humans, we are wired for connection.
