I’ve been LOVING my CSA this summer. Abso-frigen-lutely loving it. It’s made me be better about meal planning, eating healthier, avoiding food waste, and trying new recipes. Plus, it makes me feel really good knowing I’m supporting my local farm and community.
I wanted to create a video series that would inspire other people to try a CSA or just try seasonal produce, whether it’s from your farmer’s market or the grocery store. Each episode, I’ll uncover what produce is in my CSA box, their health benefits, and how you can use them in the kitchen, along with some awesome recipe inspiration.
I also figured this would be a great series for people that already have a CSA or better yet might be trying one for the first time and not sure what the heck is in their box and what to do with it. I’ll tell you a few years back I got my first CSA and didn’t know what to do with half my veggies in the box (kohlrab-whaaat?) so I hope these videos will help guide you through that big ol’ box and give you some veggie inspiration.
